DR CESARE DI FELICIANTONIO I hold a double PhD in Geography (April 2016) from Sapienza- University of Rome and KU Leuven, supervisors: Filippo Celata and Manuel B. Aalbers.
From February 2016 to February 2018 I worked as postdoctoral researcher at the University of Maynooth and Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Since March 2018 I have been working as Marie Curie research fellow in the School of Geography, Geology and the Environment at the University of Leicester. My main research interests include: urban social geography and political economy; geographies of sexualities and political economy of identity. My articles have been published, among others, on Antipode; European Urban and Regional Studies; Gender, Place & Culture; Geoforum; Housing Policy Debate; International Journal of Urban and Regional Research; and Urban Geography. |

Gavin Brown is a Professor of Political Geography and Sexualities at the University of Leicester. His current research focuses on the political geographies of PrEP and the ways in which sexuality and gender identity have become matters of geopolitical and diplomatic concern in recent years. He has published widely on the geographies of gay men’s lives. He was editor-in-chief (with Kath Browne) of The Routledge Research Companion to Geographies of Sex and Sexualities (2016). In recent years, his research has also examined the historical geographies of British anti-apartheid solidarity activism and he is the author of Youth Activism and Solidarity: the non-stop picket against apartheid (with Helen Yaffe)
